Welcome to Re:Charge

Creating Spaces • Building Relationships • Igniting Change

At Re:Charge, community is at the heart of all we do. We are a registered charity based within Maidenhead and our aim is to create safe spaces, build relationships and ignite change in people’s lives. We hold family drop-in sessions and offer support for our families. We wish to create a sense of belonging, and support, where each person feels valued and seen.

We are currently holding two family drop in sessions a week, one  on a Tuesday at the Larchfield Community Centre 10.00am to 2.00 pm, and the other on a Thursday at High Street Methodist Church (Wesley Hall), Maidenhead 10.00am to 2.00 pm. Our family drop in sessions give the opportunity for time to chat, make  friends and form new relationships. children at our sessions always have play, craft and story time. Each weeks activities are based around a theme e.g. dinosaurs, zoo animals or winter. We offer opportunities for parents to explore how to spend time interacting with their children as well as the children experiencing different creative activities that might not otherwise be available to them.

Re:Charge operates most weeks of the year, including during school holiday time, when we usually put on special craft activities.  Please see current details for all our sessions on our Sessions page as these may vary from time to time!

We work closely with other agencies within the RBWM such as Foodshare and Baby Bank, and we are able to signpost or refer families and individuals as appropriate.

If you would like to make a difference through further support of Re:Charge R&R, here is a simple way to do so!  We’re not asking for any money, or any real time, just for you to nominate us as a registered charity for the Movement for Good awards.  Every nomination enters us into a draw for an award of £1,000.  The more nominations, the more chances Re:Charge get of being successful.

Simply go to https://movementforgood.com/#nominateACharity  and hit the nominate button!

You will need our registered charity number for this which is 1168554, and if you are asked for the type of charity we are, we would describe ourselves as a Community charity.

The draws will be made in early December, and we’ll let you know here if we have been successful.

Thank you
